Leeteuk to appear in the musical?

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk and actors Kim Moo Yeol and Ji Hyun Woo, who are currently serving in the army, will appear in a musical together.

According to several broadcasting officials on November 29, the three stars will appear on the musical The Promise, which was created by the Ministry of National Defense.

Besides the three stars, entertainers, who are serving in the military, will join together for the musical. The Ministry of National Defense will make an official announcement as soon as the the details are confirmed.

The musical will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. It is based on real people such as general Baek Sun Yeop and war correspondent Marguerite Higgins.

The musical will be played in January, 2013 at the National Theater of Korea.

It’s been reported that Super Junior‘s Leeteuk will be appearing in a musical alongside actors Kim Moo Yeol and Ji Hyun Woo, who are also currently serving in the army.

The three stars will be acting in ‘The Promise‘, which will be sponsored by the Ministry of National Defense. The musical is based on actual historical events and figures, such as General Baek Sun Yeop and war correspondent Marguerite Higgins, and will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean War.

‘The Promise’ is scheduled to open in January of 2013 at the National Theater of Korea. The Ministry will make an official announcement when further details are confirmed.

Junsu’s Interview regarding the SM lawsuit

JYJ’s Kim Junsu recently opened up about his group’s exclusive contract nullification lawsuit.

Kim Junsu met with reporters on the 29th at a hotel in Essen, Germany and when asked about the possibilities of TVXQ getting back together now that JYJ’s lawsuit with their former agency SM Entertainment has ended after three years and four months, he stated, “I lament the fact that I’m not able to introduce myself as a member of TVXQ.” Though it wasn’t a direct answer, it seems as though even he sees the chances of TVXQ getting back together again to be low.

Kim Junsu stated, “I, too, find this situation to be unfortunate because I entered the entertainment industry and started out as a singer through TVXQ,” and “Though the situation is unfortunate and regrettable, the title of ‘TVXQ’ will always remain in my heart and I believe that other people, and not only myself, will remember and never forget the five years that I performed as amember of TVXQ.”
He continued to add, “Nothing will ever be as memorable and fill me with joy than if I could stand on stage again as ‘TVXQ’ one day.” Kim Junsu didn’t hide his affection for TVXQ as he said, “We were fighting a battle against our company (SM Entertainment) and their unlawful practices; it wasn’t that we wanted to throw away our title of ‘TVXQ’ or leave ‘TVXQ’.”

He feels the same way about the name that introduced him to the world, ‘Xiah’. Kim Junsu stated, “When I perform in musicals, I use my real name of Kim Junsu. Regardless of what name I use, I give people my all to repay them for remembering me and coming to see me. But I started out as ‘Xiah’ and I would like to keep performing under that name as a singer.”

Though Kim Junsu made his debut and became famous as TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu, he has no longer been able to use that stage name since beginning his lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

When he released his first solo album in May, he released it under the name ‘XIA’, which was his name ‘XIAH’ from his TVXQ days without an ‘H’.

Song Joong Ki, “Park Bo Young’s so pretty”

The behind-the-scenes footage from the movie ‘Werewolf Boy’ has been revealed.

‘Werewolf Boy’ has drawn more than 6 million moviegoers in just 26 days since premier and the behind-the-scenes footage from the filming location has been revealed which shows the charming actors as themselves out of the characters they play in the film.

The clip starts out with director Jo Sung Hee joking, “Song Joong Ki talks too much” and Jang Young Nam saying, “Song Joong Ki is too nosy.”

Song Joong Ki brought laughter pretending to clean his ears with a pencil in his hand which is like the scene from the film ‘Werewolf Boy’. Song Joong Ki was also cute complaining “I want to say the lines too” as he has no lines.

Jang Young Nam exposed Song Joong Ki saying, “Song Joong Ki is nosy and talks too much” but he also shared that Song Joong Ki was really caring despite the tough filming schedule and that he really took care of the staff members also shouting out hwaiting together at times.

Song Joong Ki felt playful in the scene in which he had to carry Park Bo Young on his back and said, “Bo Young is so light.” Park Bo Young was shy responding, “This makes me feel even worse.” Song Joong Ki smiled as he said, “Park Bo Young’s biggest charm is the really small face. That’s why she’s so pretty.”

Director Jo Sung Hee shared, “Park Bo Young was so loved by the staff that she was the goddess on the filming location of ‘Werewolf Boy’.” The staff members had thrown a birthday party for Park Bo Young preparing a 3-tier cake and even a red carpet.

The only bad guy in the movie Yoo Yeon Suk shared that he was disappointed to show only the evil side. Yoo Yeon Suk was cute in saying, “I thank the director and the staff for making me very mean.”

‘Werewolf Boy’ is a huge hit at the box office and it appears it will be surpassing the 7 million moviegoer mark.

Hello Venus’ Alice’s shocking confession

Hello Venus’ member Alice revealed her affection towards CNBLUE member Lee Jonghyunand it is interesting how bold she was with her statement.

Alice appeared in the dual broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “tvN eNews” on November 29 (11.45 am & 6pm KST) that revealed the history of “uncle fans” interest towards girl groups. Alice, a member of the rookie group Hello Venus is expected to be on the rise as she always appears in shows these days.

During the broadcast, MC Kim Sungjo asked Alice who her favorite male singer and she boldly replied “CNBLUE Lee Jonghyun”. To that, the MC even asked Alice to send a video letter (to Jonghyun). Unlike the other girl group members in TV shows, Alice’s bold confession shocked Kim Sungjo as well as Cho Jinsu and Hwang Hyeyoung who were also in the studio.

Despite being the “face” of her group, Alice showed that her sense of entertainment is not to be belittled. Her charm in entertainment was shown when she impersonated singer Hyeon Sook.

Seven boys with strong personalities gathered together in 2010 to form a team. Without realizing it, it’s been already 3 years since their debut, since they entered the music industry as Infinite. On November 11th, 2012, it was their 900th day since their debut. They showed their slowly maturing image and accomplished the splendid achievement that is the ‘Arena Tour’ a year only after their Japanese debut. ◆ “The moment I shine the most, Infinite”…Sunggyu

We already reached our 900th day. I don’t realize it well but. I’m really thankful to the dongsaengs who worked hard silently at their position. While preparing this solo album, I felt it even more, the members are really important to me

No matter where we go, when we gather together we’re so talkative that we receive remarks saying ‘You’re noisy’^^ We live in the same dorm and see each other everyday but we still have a lot of things to tell each other. It was to the extent that the band hyungs were confused and shocked when preparing the concert. Haha.

At some point it became my daily life to end the day by talking with the members. We also go all together when we go eat nearby! If there’s a member missing, we call him to come over saying ‘Come quickly! Let’s eat!’ ^^

It might be the same for the other groups as well but, we give advices to each other, and we spend time talking about our performances. Of course we also pull all sort of pranks. I’m the hyung but they’re dongsaengs who have many good traits to take on so I’m always learning. It’s also stimulating me^^

It’s not only me, because all of the members are like that, I think that that’s how Infinite is able to mature little by little.

Even for my solo album, the members were reassuringly by my side so it felt less lonely. Especially the day where we filmed the music video, the members all stayed with me till dawn. I couldn’t express it but they don’t know how much I was thankful.

Dongsaengs!!

I’m always thankful! During these last 4 years, seeing how we gathered together without knowing each other and matched each other like puzzle pieces to form a perfect picture, I’m really touched

The 6 dongsaengs naturally have kind personalities so there are a lot of times where I feel like we’re matching each other like puzzle pieces

The dongsaengs make me feel like this ‘Ah we’re always 7 members’, rather than thinking that as the leader I’m the first in the team called Infinite,

I feel like I’m here thanks to the dongsaengs instead, who fulfill their own duties well and more silently than me. I have a lot of lacking points but thanks for always following me and trusting me, let’s always be together. As always ^^

◆ “2013 powerfully!”…Dongwoo

Me who is clumsy to express emotions. During those times I even think ‘I look like a fool’. But I’d like you to know my sincere feelings…^^ I can’t show my feelings well to my family and to the fans either. I might look indifferent about it but you know that it’s not how I feel right? Haha.

It was recently my birthday, I was eating with my family and cried so much at the meaningful gift my parents gave me and my big sisters’ letters. But since I cried tears of joy, my mood was the best! I absolutely want to tell my family too thanks and that I love them ^^

Also, the ones I can’t forget! All the fans who love Infinite! Time doesn’t wait. This year went by very quickly as well, I think there were people who were overwhelmed by it. Next year too, let’s go together powerfully!! Thank you ^^

My weapon is that I think positively about every situation! I think that if you’re bright and always think positively, everything will go well. It was like that until now but I will work hard and I will keep on using this ‘positivity’ that is my strength to reach an even higher goal!

When I first debuted as a singer, I only moved thinking about singing on that stage I always dreamt of. But now, I got to hear what the many fans and the people around me say

It might be the special adaptability humans have to get a new ability when losing one^^ The first thing I think is ‘Now rather than being popular just once, am I a person who can do something at the right place?’! May it be through singing, dancing, laughing or just being myself…

2012, the year where we accomplished a lot of things and the year that seemed to be successful.

Us who came running since 2010. There were hard times but I think that we overcame it all because we were together. I got a lot more confident when I met the members. If I didn’t have my reassuring hyungs and dongsaengs, the present ‘Infinite’s Sungyeol’ wouldn’t even exist.

Sometimes I get asked this question ‘If you came back in the past?’, but I’m absolutely not going to go back!

After ending with the members the big run that was the Arena Tour, it’s our 900th day. I think that 2012 was a year with a deep meaning in many ways to Infinite, and to me. For the Arena Tou of course, and we also had the new experience to release our concert in a 3D movie.

It seems that everything is getting accomplished one by one, it feels really great. To maintain this good mood, I have to keep the exact same feeling from the first time! The same passion! Until I’ll be confident about myself!

And we’re still at 900 days but let’s be together for 9000 days, 90000 days. I wish we could become a small hope for all of you. I love you! Inspirits!

Infinite is one.

As simple as 1+1=2, it feels like each additional members allows us to keep on doing more! Just like our name Infinite means infinity. I think that we will keep on doing more. And Infinite are idols. Even if we still have a lot of lacking points, watch us grow bigger as each day passes by. We will become really great singers who will go beyond the idols’ boundaries. That’s why Infinite is one.

I think that in 10 years, we will still be doing our best singing on stage just like now, without changing.

Ever since the first days after our debut, my original intention has always been the same. If you say I’ve changed, then I can say that I got a little bit more free than I was at that time? I used to be narrow-minded but I’ve changed and opened myself, from negative to positive!

Our members are always positive. Positive energy is a great strength while promoting. When we’re together, you can always hear neverending laughing sounds. I’ve managed to change thanks to the members. From now on, I’ll do my best so INFINITE and also I can change and improve^^

2012 was a year during which I could feel I was alive.

I had new challenges with the concerts in Korea and overseas, my solo stage and the INFINITE-H performance. The third mini album for which we tried many things as well as the acting challenge which I couldn’t even imagine. I worked incessantly and it was frustrating but I learned a lot of things in 2012, it was a meaningful year

I’ve especially realized a lot of things while getting ready with Dongwoo hyung for our unit group INFINITE-H. It served as a momentum to promise once again to constantly work hard to show various images and not stay at a standstill.

I’ve gained as much as I’ve promoted. Because a lot of people sent me their love, I think the result was good. The future Hoya will show you different images through INFINITE and the unit group so please look forward to it!! I will show you something that will exceed your expectations !!!

I used to be a kid who liked singing and who was dreaming of becoming a singer, I’ve gone through auditions, became a trainee and now it’s been 900 days since I’ve debuted…

I am so happy that if all the things that happened to me were a dream, I would not want to wake up!! I absolutely want to tell the Inspirits that made me come until here and who give me strength that I thank and love them ^^

I was really busy. The sitcom had started and I also prepared for the Arena Tour. I lacked time to sleep but I somehow felt proud. I was also thankful to be able to do this. Learning things I ignored was also rewarding.

They were times when I am tired… But at these times the members help me! Even if they’re busy, they are hyungs who support me. They sometimes come to the filming location of the sitcom late at night or when I have things to do early in the morning, when the hyungs send me surprise support texts, I gain strength. I also feel like I have to do even better !

Even as time goes by, I feel like I will remember 2012. Since I’ve promoted vigorously as INFINITE and even alone. From now, more more more ! I hope it’ll be even more active^^ [I would happy] if we could show the INFINITE’s seven members’ individualities and charms to a lot of people…!

Not just for a moment but steadily. I want to hear people telling us ‘You’ve improved a lot’ but I feel like it’s our share since the estimation will change according to how well we do. Keep an eye on us^^

INFINITE who is now my family! I hope we will keep on being together for a long time.

It doesn’t feel like it’s been a long time since I’ve met with the hyungs for the first time but it’s already been 900 days, it’s been over two years ! It feels new !

Sunggyu hyung was as relaxed as a hyung from my neighborhood^^ Woohyun looked like someone who would play pranks, Hoya hyung looked trustworthy. Sungyeolie hyung felt like a model student, L hyung seemed a bit cold. Even though now they are all my precious hyungs now^^

Since I’m with the hyungs, I don’t feel any loneliness, it’s reassuring! Thank you hyungs~~~^^

Press Conference for upcoming drama Cheongdam-dong Alice

Upcoming drama Cheongdam-dong Alice held its press conference today. Here are the some pictures from the conference.

The first episode will broadcast on December 1, at 9:50 KST on SBS.

JYJ reaches agreement with SM, finally freed from restriction

SM Entertainment and group JYJ‘s (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) contract dispute has come to an end after 3 years and 4 months of long legal battle.

According to several legal circles on November 28th, SM Entertainment and JYJ have agreed to end all contracts signed between the two parties as of the date of injunction request date of July 31st, 2009.

The two parties have signed an agreement to drop all lawsuits and to put all stops to interference in future activities from here on.

Regarding the agreement a JYJ representative stated, “We cannot confirm it for you.”

Sunye’s Letter

Hello, this is Sun!

We’re already heading into the final month of 2012.

For me, I have been spending my own ‘sensitive time’ as I’ve been reflecting on all the memories, like a movie reel, from not only this past year but the past six years since I entered the gayo world under the name of ‘Wonder Girls’. Haha and the feeling that has most filled up my heart is ‘thankfulness’.

Despite having spent a long period in training, I still think of it a miracle not only that someone lacking like myself has debuted but also that I have been given responsibility as the leader of a group while doing so.

In the two years after [I became a leader], through Tell Me, So Hot, Nobody we’ve received a tremendous amount of love and attention and we’ve been having this so-called ‘success’ term be applied by those around us. I think it was a time where we ran without even having the time to look back on ourselves. Towards the direction of the things we wanted to do! Towards our dreams.

And so, time passed some more and already Wonder Girls is in its sixth year…

Beginning in our second year, I began doing volunteer work and the scope of my heart, which used to be so tiny, grew…. And most of all I experienced and felt so many things…. And I even began to understand ‘life is a miracle’… which, can seem random, but which I began to grasp more.

After looking back on all this time, such feelings of gratitude fills my heart towards the members who are standing with me… and needless to say we are so thankful to our Wonderfuls who love and cheer us on as we are… though some of you may be thinking these are things we always say.. Haha.
Actually, the thought has come to my mind that now we have Wonderfuls that are abroad and many who I have never even seen their faces before… but despite never having seen each other’s faces or having met, the fact we can give to each other such a great and positive energy really makes the word, ‘wonder’ come to my mind.
That’s why, whenever I can… I want to say it- that I’m truly thankful.
This is the first time I’ve written in a while but… actually as I write each letter my heart is so anxious, I can’t hide it.. Haha
I’m not even one to normally get anxious on the stage… but right this moment… I’m kind of shaking… There are times I write for no real reason but today I’m doing so for a special reason.
To all my close and thankful people I wanted to tell you directly rather than it being heard through others. Regarding this matter, it’s a little difficult for me to go into details but I’ll tell you the most important part!
January 26, 2013 has become a very important day in my life.
I’ve come to make a promise to marry and for two to become one and walk the same path together.
There will be people who will think, ‘That’s too sudden..’ but I want to ask you to please trust and bless my decision. If anything, I wanted to make sure I tell everyone directly.

Don’t be too disappointed either!

Just like you have laughed with me when I was happy and cried with me when I was sad, I hope on January 26 you will all share your hearts with me wherever you are.

And to all my Wonder Girls members who discussed and understood this decision… and to all my company family ….I want to say I am truly thankful!

I hope and pray that you all will finish this year well and hold a precious time to prepare for the arrival of the new year.

Song Joong Ki’s report card reveals ‘The Ultimate Uhmchinah’

Song Joong Ki‘s 12th grade report card has been revealed.

Song Joong Ki’s 12th grade report card was revealed on the November 26th installment of SBS’s ‘Good Morning’, drawing all eyes.

The production team of ‘Good Morning’ visited Song Joong Ki’s high school. As revealed by the production team, Song Joong Ki’s 12th grade report card showed all A’s showcasing Song Joong Ki’s uhmchinah side. Song Joong Ki was a hardworking and dedicated student who did not miss a day of school during the 3 years of high school. (The high school years in Korea are 3 years, from the 10th through the 12th grade.)

Song Joong Ki’s dream in his high school years was indicated as becoming a ‘news anchor’. Song Joong Ki made it into Sunkyunkwan University as a business management major in 2005 after studying for an extra year after high school graduation, scoring 380 out of 400 points on the college entrance exam.

(uhmchinah = a slang that stands for mom’s friend’s son which refers that guy your mom raves about)
