Bae Soo Bin cast as Yoo Ji Tae’s leading man

…in Yoo Ji-tae’s directorial feature, that is. As previously announced, Yoo is following his recent wedding to actress Kim Hyo-jin by diving back to work, now that his debut directorial feature has secured funding. He’s now locked Bae Soo-bin (49 Days, Dong Yi) in as the film’s leading man.

The project’s title has been tweaked to A Boy Dreams of Sansevieria; sansevieria is the name of a plant that colloquially goes by the names devil’s tongue, snake plant, and mother-in-law’s tongue. The story is a coming-of-age story about a young man who runs away from home and ends up traveling with a Filipina woman.

Bae Soo-bin plays the young man… and I hope there’s something else to that story, because as baby-faced as he is, he also totally looks his age (34). Not at all the kind of youth who’d be running away from home and coming of age. But Yoo Ji-tae has established a thoughtful, introspective directorial style with his previous four shorts, so I’m sure he knows what he’s about.

A Boy Dreams of Sansevieria will begin shooting in January.

Taemin’s Merry Christmas Message

Update on JYJ and SM Entertainment

I am glad the boys won…hopefully we will get to see them with Yunho and Changmin soon!

According to numerous of media reports, Jaejoong (JYJ) will be on KBS radio program “Choi Kang Hee’s Night Flight” on December 25, 2011.

Fans may receive a great Christmas gift by seeing and hearing from the 5 Star Hollywood Of The Year 2011 Nominee.

When JYJ presented a lawsuit against S.M.Entertainment in 2009, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu formed their side group “JYJ” in order to continue to do music. However, as a result of the lawsuit, JYJ was unable to perform or be seen doing music for any network in Asia. KBS is by far the most popular network around the world. This news with Jaejoong appearing on the KBS radio show will be a major breakthrough for JYJ.

In 2012, fans should be able to see JYJ perform on national television and not be canceled since the Korean Fair Trade Commission found S. M. Entertainment guilty of blocking JYJ’s public appearances on TV and radio which S.M. may be fined 5 figures, pretty close to $90,000 U.S. dollars.

However, this amount would not be enough. S.M. Entertainment has put JYJ  through mental stress. It’s ridiculous that JYJ could not perform on TV and radio for 2 years.

S.M. Entertainment is not being penalized enough, if they could influence major networks not to have JYJ on any program to do music for their fans then they are “guilty” of interfering with Jaejoong and Yunho reuniting. It doesn’t make any sense why these two are apart and have not spoken nor seen each other in 2 years. S.M. Entertainment should be fined for keeping Changmin, Yoochun, Junsu; especially Jaejoong and Yunho from communicating.

S.M. Entertainment is being unfair and unprofessional.

Siwon, Kyuhyun,and Yesung enjoying under the snow

Super Junior members Siwon, Kyuhyun and Siwon take photos under the falling snow.

On December 23, Yesung and Siwon tweeted and share photos while they are enjoying the snow. Yesung tweeted, ”Snow falling heavily^^ Christmas is coming soon, everyone be happy~~^^

And Siwon also tweeted, ”Santa claus is coming to town ! lovely ! “

In the pictures, Siwon, Kyuhyun and Yesung are having fun under the falling snow and didn’t care about the cold weather. Look like they are having fun even though Siwon looks like freezing. They are looking up the sky while the snow continues to flow.
